According to my Russian sources, today is International Women’s Day. In Russia, it’s a holiday that combines mother’s day with valentine’s day and is a national holiday. Here, I haven’t seen much sign of it. And I have bad luck in exploiting the day for my personal gain since the man who appreciates me most is out of town on a business trip. Damn. But hopefully all you other women out there will get the appreciation you deserve.
