A big thumbs down for BMW, which recently ran this ad about “A word that transcends every language” with a big map of Europe on it. As a German company, it knows better. Why pretend that everyone says no when it’s a well-known fact that Germans say nein? And say it a lot.

No offense to all the rest of you jokesters, but my official funniest friend is Michelle Biloon. I still remember how she used to stop by our apartment after class and entertain us with standup routines about her day, whether we wanted to hear them or not.
